COST
Here is a guideline to my charges when you visit me. These are subject to change, but generally are updated on 1 July of each year. Each cost has a Medicare item number, (and attracts a rebate from Medicare detailed parentheses.). If you have registered for automatic refunds with Medicare – my reception staff can automatically arrange these refunds for you. This list contains common items only. There are other item numbers that you may be charged. I will let you know about this prior to performing the procedure.
GYNAECOLOGY PATIENTS
104 - Initial Consultation Fee – Gynaecology patients.
105 - Subsequent consultation within the referral period.

All of the above payments will receive a partial refund from Medicare. These fees are the same for patients with or without health fund cover.
DELIVERY FEES - Valid Health Funds
No Gap charges are done for both vaginal and caesarean section deliveries with most health funds – such as Bupa, HCF (except Swaddle – see below), Medibank Private, AHSA group of Funds.
Some health funds are not accepted (such as Frank, LaTrobe, Budget Direct, Mildura Health) for No Gap charging and for those Funds you will be charged the Schedule Fee PLUS $1,000.00.
Please call and speak to Merilyn or Linda if you wish to clarify whether your health fund is accepted for No Gap charging.
DELIVERY FEES – No Health Fund
For those without health fund cover, I charge the Medicare rebate PLUS $1,000.00 for the delivery.
NOTE - The above fees do not include hospital charges, anaesthetist, paediatrician ultrasounds, blood tests etc.
